Who we are
At Canopy Connections, we are planting seeds of personal growth through innovative programs like anger management classes and connecting individuals to persistent, local social interventions. We offer in-depth reporting options for referrals and regular check-ins for skill development and progress. Our immediate mission is to heal our community by reducing recidivism within police interactions and social services—creating a healthier environment where families can flourish. We provide families with the tools to cultivate safe, healthy environments for themselves and those around them, growing stronger together under a shared canopy of support.
Founded and led by Tim Inniss, who brings over 10 years of hands-on experience in social services, Canopy Connections is deeply rooted in expertise and compassion. Tim’s journey began at the grassroots level, providing care in crisis homes and writing vital grant requests for developmentally disabled adults. His commitment deepened as he investigated abuse, neglect, and exploitation of Texan children, nurturing a profound understanding of the challenges our community faces.
That experience ignited a desire to understand. Tim performed years of research using interviews with community leaders and providers and large-scale, peer reviewed studies to understand the needs of the community and attempt to attack the weak links in how services are delivered.
We aim to provide long term, foundational intervention to inspire change which will last.
